Tom (6/4 ), Sue (6/6). Jim Lowell (6/6). Joe (6/9), Don (6/9), and Sandy (6/20). A lusty song was belted out for a few bucks.
News:
The Treasurer's Report was read and accepted. We are in good financial health at the moment.
Dan had presented several names as prospective members. Several members selected some to contact and invite to a meeting. It is hoped that everyone will do their best to bring in new potential members. It is our life's blood.
Upcoming Events:
June 30: PastyFest. As usual, we are manning the ice cream concession, one of the most popular of the concessions (next to the pastys of course).
August 18: The Tamburitizans, our main fund-raiser. Let's fill the 700 seats this year. Come with ideas as to how to spread the word to outlying areas such as L'Anse/Baraga, Houghton/Hancock, Ontonogan, Marquette, et al.
Complete directions for selling and donating tickets and getting sponsors will be posted on this blog very soon.
